How to report street safety issues to the Stamford Department of Transportation (DOT)
The Fix It Stamford website allows you to file complaints and flag issues to the city. For issues such as frequent speeding, unsafe intersections, missing crosswalks, missing bike lanes, and other safety concerns, select "Traffic, Signs & Signals" then "Traffic Investigations" followed by your concern.

Find your State and U.S. representatives and contact them about concerns or upcoming legislative items
Participate in public hearings or comment sessions for Board of Representatives, Board of Education, Board of Finance or various appointed boards/commissions.
Connect with the Stamford Democratic City Committee or Republican Town Committee for an opportunity to volunteer, serve on an appointed or run for an elected board/commission.
